Frank began his career with the German Armed Forces, completing a degree in geodesy and geoinformation before switching to IT. For the rest of his service he designed and quality-assured system administration training for their IT systems. From 2011 he spent over a decade at secunet Security Networks AG, where he trained more than 1,000 IT professionals in secure network and infrastructure administration across classroom courses, online sessions, and workshops. In 2025 he joined croit as a certified Proxmox Trainer and Consulting Specialist, and has since taught Proxmox VE to over 100 people in official certification courses and run Proxmox VE and Proxmox Backup Server workshops for over 80 more.
