Replacing NICs
When NICs fail, follow this procedure to avoid having to reconfigure your host:
- Set
nooutinMaintenance -> Flags. - Shutdown the Server
- Change the NIC's MAC address to the replacement NIC’s MAC address
- Swap the NICs
- Boot the server
