Ceph Day Berlin on November 12th 2018 – Today, at the beginning of Ceph Day, the Linux Foundation announced the founding of the Ceph Foundation, and we are pleased that croit is also joining the Ceph Foundation as a founding member.

The Ceph Foundation is a directed fund under The Linux Foundation. It provides a neutral home for the Ceph community to collaborate and grow, and is supported by members across multiple industries.

With this step, croit GmbH expresses its trust in Ceph as an innovative storage technology and at the same time takes the opportunity to involve even more in the future development of Ceph for the benefit of its customers.
