We aim to make at least 1 new release every month. Croit releases are named after the year and month they are released in: "vYYMM.X", 2 digits for the year, 2 for the month, and an additional revision number that resets to 0 at the start of the next month.

This is the first release of the croit Datacenter Manager (CDM), one screen for all your croit and Ceph clusters.

  • The dashboard shows capacity, throughput, IOPS and health across all clusters.

  • S3 multisite replication between croit clusters can be set up under Replication.

  • Capacity forecasts show how many days remain until a device class is near-full or full.

  • Findings from all clusters are collected in one list, most severe first.

  • Servers, OSDs, pools, disks, services and tasks are listed across all clusters.

  • Logs from all clusters are shown in one viewer.

  • Charts show IOPS, throughput, latency and server load per cluster or for the whole fleet.

  • A world map shows every cluster, coloured by its health.

  • Open UI opens a cluster's own interface, read-only.

  • Support tickets with debug information attached can be opened under Support.

  • Login uses your existing single sign-on, with read-only access by default.

  • Plain Ceph clusters can be added too, with fewer features than croit clusters.

  • One audit trail covers CDM and all clusters.
