Which tag should I use?
| Tag | Use it when |
|---|---|
oci.croit.io/croit/cdm:latest |
You just want the current version. Points at the newest release. This is the right choice for almost everyone. |
oci.croit.io/croit/cdm:v2610 |
You want to stay on one release line and pick up its fixes, and move to a newer line when you decide to. |
oci.croit.io/croit/cdm:v2610.1 |
You need an exact, unchanging version, for example in a change-controlled environment. |
oci.croit.io/croit/cdm:nightly |
You want to try something that is not released yet. Not for production. |
Reading a version number
v2610.1
| +-- the second release of that line, counting from 0
+-------- year 26, month 10
So v2610.0 is the first release from October 2026, and v2610.1 is the second one. You can tell at a glance how current your installation is. CDM numbers its releases the same way croit does.
A nightly build shows nightly- followed by its short commit instead of a version number, and is published only under the :nightly tag.
The version your installation runs is shown at the bottom of the navigation menu, so a support request can always name it.
